Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni mocked the Dallas Cowboys with their own famous victory phrase after leading his team to a huge win over their division rivals on Sunday night.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts threw for 155 yards and two touchdowns as his team stayed undefeated and moved to 6-0 with a 26-17 win over the Cowboys. Philadelphia remain atop the NFC East as a result while Dallas have slipped to third behind the surprising New York Giants.
The Eagles held on after letting their 20-0 lead slip to 20-17 early in the fourth quarter. They are now 6-0 for the first time since 2004 when they won their first seven matches en route to a Super Bowl appearance.
Throughout the contest, Sirianni was visibly heated and cameras caught his reaction towards the end. Eagles center Jason Kelce finished a block on Cowboys defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa in the closing moments only for the Dallas player to tackle him after the whistle, with both teams coming together.
Sirianni was furious and was clearly seen pointing and yelling ‘F*** you!’ - and he wasn’t done there. While walking down the tunnel towards the locker room at the Lincoln Financial Field, Sirianni approached a camera and twice shouted ‘How ‘bout them Eagles?’
The 41-year-old was clearly throwing shade at the Cowboys as he mimicked the franchise’s traditional victory cry. Iconic former Dallas head coach Jimmy Johnson famously coined the phrase when he led the team to a win in the 1992 NFC Championship Game over the San Francisco 49ers, bellowing: ‘How ‘bout them Cowboys?’
The phrase is an important rallying cry for Cowboys fans as they yearn for success for the first time since their last Super Bowl win back in 1995. Sirianni clearly knew what he was doing after he was left incensed by Odighizuwa’s cheap shot - but he had the last laugh as the Eagles retained control of the NFC East.

Philadelphia scored 20 points in the second quarter which ignited as Hurts hit A.J. Brown on fourth-and-3 for an 11-yard gain. Miles Sanders scored on a five-yard touchdown burst to give the Eagles the lead.
Soon after, Cowboys backup quarterback Cooper Rush saw a pass deflected and intercepted by Chauncey Gardner-Johnson. Hurts capitalised by finding Brown for a 15-yard touchdown to go 14-0 up.
Jake Elliott added field goals of 51 and 34 yards to make it 20-0 with the second kick coming after Darius Slay intercepted Rush. After the Cowboys battled back, Hurts hit DeVonta Smith for a seven-yard touchdown to give the Eagles a 26-17 lead and put the game away.
The passionate performance ultimately highlighted the resiliency and grit of a Philadelphia team and coaching staff who perhaps sense something special is brewing in the City of Brotherly Love. The Eagles have a bye next week while the Cowboys welcome the Detroit Lions to Dallas.
