Daley Blind has already pinpointed the biggest strength Erik ten Hag would bring to Manchester United should he arrive at Old Trafford. Blind spent four seasons at Old Trafford between 2014 and 2018 and is enjoying his second spell with Eredivisie giants Ajax having played 37 games under Ten Hag this campaign.
Blind, 32, won two domestic trophies and the Europa League during his time at United. He was part of the last side to bring silverware back to the club in 2017.
A return to Ajax followed 12 months later. Since then, the 88-cap Netherlands international has struck up a strong working relationship with Ten Hag and the highly-rated Ajax coach has been identified as a preferred candidate to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on a permanent basis.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino is also in the frame, while Thomas Tuchel continues to be linked on account of ongoing issues at Chelsea. But, for now, ten Hag appears to be leading the way.
The 52-year-old has won two Eredivisie titles and two domestic cups since taking charge in Amsterdam. But what's the main attribute he would bring to Old Trafford?
Speaking to BT Sport in May 2019, Blind said of Ajax and Ten Hag: "Johan Cruyff's philosophy and spirit flows around in this club. Erik ten Hag is doing very well. He wants us to play attacking football, but most of all without any fear."
