Is you are in a happy relationship and planning your wedding day, you may want to brace yourself for the unexpected appearance of Dakota Johnson – as she has confessed she loves nothing more than gate crashing weddings.
The 32-year-old Hollywood star has never walked down the aisle herself, but claims her “number one hobby” is turning up to weddings unannounced and uninvited.
The A Bigger Splash actress also claimed she has been confronted by a happy couple in the past who were puzzled as to who she was as well as why she was at their wedding.
Dakota – who has been dating divorced father-of-two and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, 45, since 2017 – says it is a regular occurrence.
She made the confession during a game of Never Have I Ever with W Magazine and was asked if she’d ever gatecrashed a wedding.
She laughed: “I feel like I’ve down that a lot. It’s like one of my number one hobbies.”
Recalling one of the events, she said: “There I was, holding up a bridge and groom in a chair and they were just like ‘Who? What are you doing here?’”
During the game she also admitted she had once ‘slid into the DMs’ of someone – but teased: “I’m not going to tell you [who]!”
She also said she was once left star struck by one of the Spice Girls, but failed to recall exactly which one it was.
However, she did tease the introduction that left her speechless was recent, as she giggled: “I didn’t think I’d be star struck by a Spice Girl now. But I was!”
And also asked if she ever spoke to her dog in an embarrassing voice, she laughed: “Hi noodle! Hi noodle doodle! It’s so stupid. His name is Zepplin.”
Meanwhile, Dakota recently gave a rare insight into her romance with Coldplay’s Chris – explaining that they prefer to keep their relationship private rather than head to glitzy events or venues together.
She told Elle Magazine last December: "We've been together for quite a while and we go out sometimes, but we both work so much that it's nice to be at home and be cosy and private.
“Most of the partying takes place inside of my house.”
In the same interview, Dakota also opened up about her relationship with her mother, the icon Melanie Griffith, saying that she is "nurturing, generous and loving".
She added that Melanie was "amazing partner to her husbands", namely Dakota's dad Don, and actors Steven Bauer and Antonio Banderas.
