Dak Prescott update: Cowboys QB to miss multiple weeks with hamstring injury

Dak Prescott will miss several games, including Sunday’s afternoon matchup against the Eagles, after suffering a severe hamstring injury in the Falcons’ loss.

Tom Pelissero reports Prescott’s injury was worse than initially feared, and he could miss a good chunk of the final nine games.

Prescott exited with a stat line of 18-24 passing for 133 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception, with a 101.6 rating. Prescott had three carries for 30 yards on the day but was outplayed by Kirk Cousins and the surging Falcons offense.

Cooper Rush is the Cowboy’s backup, and he’ll likely have Trey Lance backing him up.
