A video from Cowboys training camp went viral Tuesday where Trevon Diggs can be heard cursing out Dak Prescott after a play where the quarterback failed to move the sticks for the offense. Prescott was forced to roll to his right and the play was called dead when it was clear he wasn’t going anywhere. After the stop, the star cornerback can be heard telling the franchise signal-caller to “shut your b---- a-- up.”
Prescott has been the target of constant scrutiny over the past several seasons because of Dallas’s inability to make a deep postseason run. Just last year, he was tied for most interceptions thrown (17) and the clip led fans to speculate whether his own teammates have grown frustrated with him.

Prescott addressed Diggs’s harsh words on Wednesday and downplayed the moment.
“Very healthy banter between two teammates,” Prescott said on Fox 4. “That’s a guy that I spend a lot of time with. We’re always going back and forth and when you’re competing at a high level, when you’re competing and you believe your side’s better than the other side, that’s mutual and that’s iron sharpening iron. Words are words.”

The Cowboys have not made it past the divisional round of the NFL postseason since their Super Bowl run in 1995 and will look to break that streak in 2023.
