The trip to Dallas in Week 7 looks a little tougher for the Detroit Lions. The Cowboys are expected to have regular starting QB Dak Prescott back in the lineup when the Lions visit next Sunday. Numerous reports indicate Prescott will return against Detroit.
Prescott has been out since Week 1 with a thumb injury. He had surgery to stabilize the joint in his throwing thumb prior to Week 2. Prescott warmed up prior to Dallas’ game on Sunday night but was ultimately held out in favor of more rest and another week for backup Cooper Rush, who had played pretty well in relief.
It’s a tough break for the Lions, who have had major issues in the past with Prescott. In three starts against Detroit dating back to his rookie season in 2016, Prescott has completed 65 percent of his passes for 911 yards, eight TDs and zero giveaways–all Cowboys wins.
