Daizen Maeda has warned Japan they must be wary of Celtic teammate Benjamin Nygren ahead of their World Cup clash with Sweden.
The two players are set to go head-to-head on Friday, adding extra intrigue for supporters in Glasgow.

Maeda confirmed there has been no contact between the pair in the build-up and insisted any pleasantries will wait until after the final whistle. Speaking to Nippon TV, he said: “I won’t be in touch with him until the match is over.”
The Japanese forward was quick to highlight the threat Nygren poses, despite Sweden’s attacking options elsewhere. “He’s a skilful player and really excels at scoring goals,” Maeda added.
