Collingwood star Nick Daicos still faces a test before being cleared to take on North Melbourne on Sunday, but the Western Bulldogs have been boosted by the return of classy forward Cody Weightman.

In other notable selection news on Thursday evening, Tom Lynch is back for Richmond to celebrate Dustin Martin's 300-game milestone, Adelaide goalsneak Izak Rankine returns and Port Adelaide axed forwards Charlie Dixon and Jeremy Finlayson.

Daicos was substituted out of the Magpies' King's Birthday win over Melbourne due to a corked shin.

The 21-year-old has been included in the extended squad for Sunday's game, but the club say he must get through training on Friday to be given the green light.

Adelaide have welcomed back Rankine from a hamstring injury for Saturday night's clash with ladder-leaders Sydney at Adelaide Oval.

But veteran forward Taylor Walker (back) will miss another game.

The Crows recalled Nick Murray and Brayden Cook alongside Rankine, but Brodie Smith has been dropped.

The Swans have named an unchanged side as they attempt to snare their ninth win on the trot.

Weightman is back for the Bulldogs for the first time since dislocating his elbow against Fremantle on April 27.

Ironically, the Dockers will again be the Bulldogs' opponent when Weightman makes his return.

Ed Richards returns from concussion and Anthony Scott is also back.

Fremantle have included midfielder Matt Johnson in place of last week's sub Corey Wagner in the only change to their 23-man squad.

GWS have named vice-captain Josh Kelly and defender Jack Buckley in their extended squad for Sunday's meeting with Port Adelaide after the pair recovered from calf injuries.

The Power are set to welcome back captain Connor Rozee (ankle) and key forward Ollie Lord.

Dixon and Finlayson have both been dropped, Ryan Burton won't play due to a foot injury, while goalsneak Willie Rioli is still out with a calf injury.

St Kilda made four changes for Friday night's clash with the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba, losing Dougal Howard (hamstring), Jimmy Webster (calf) and Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera (managed) for the match.

Forward Tim Membrey was dropped.

Tasmanian defender Arie Schoenmaker has been named for his AFL debut, while Zak Jones, Cooper Sharman and Zaine Cordy have been recalled.

The Lions go in unchanged following last week's impressive win over the Bulldogs.

The big news out of Richmond was the return of Lynch alongside milestone man Martin for Saturday's clash with Hawthornn at the MCG.

Lynch hasn't played since injuring his hamstring on March 31, and the Tigers will be aiming to snare a win in Martin's 300th game.

Dion Prestia is out with a calf injury.

The Hawks welcome back ruckman Lloyd Meek from injury in a direct swap for Ned Reeves (back).
