Dad tucked his daughter into bed and 'hours later she was gone'

A girl who spent one year in Alder Hey with a heart condition died hours after her dad tucked her into bed.

David Hutton glanced down at his daughter as he held onto her tiny hand. The sound of her laughter filled the air as they walked up and down the escalator – something little Isla loved to do.

The six-year-old was worn out by the time they got home to Bury. But when David put her in bed, he immediately knew something was wrong. The Manchester Evening News reports.
