A dad queued for 24 hours in Liverpool city centre to renew his diabetic son’s passport.
Phil Corns travelled to Liverpool Passport Office at 8pm on Tuesday 31 May after finishing a 12 hour shift. The 41-year-old was set to work another 12 hours after having been awake for at least 36 hours.
Phil and his wife Jayne, 46, had previously travelled up to Liverpool from Newcastle-under-Lyme twice before but left the city empty handed.
