A dad has suffered a series of catastrophic and life-changing injuries after falling off a trampoline at a friend's house. Rob Harcourt was paralysed from the chest down following the freak accident which took place last month.
The 37-year-old scaffolder has been in intensive care for the past three weeks where he has undergone operations to stabilise a fracture in his neck to prevent any further damage. However he has been unable to regain consciousness since the procedure and has struggled to breathe on his own.
His mum Jackie Graves and partner Jade Higgins have visited Rob every day in hospital since the incident and say they have been "deeply humbled" by a GoFundMe page set up by their Welsh friends to help cover Jade's household bills and other expenses during this tragic time.
