A Liverpool FC-supporting dad was brutally honest with his son's school after letting him miss a day to head to Paris for the Champions League final.
Around 60,000 Liverpool fans are expected in the French capital this weekend as Jurgen Klopp's side take on 13- time winners Real Madrid at the Stade de France. Supporters began to arrive on Thursday morning and by Friday, Paris had turned into a sea of red with fans even taking over the Eiffel Tower.
William's dad kept him off school for the day in order to make the trip to Paris on Thursday. In a post on Anfield pub Taggy's Bar's Facebook page, landlord Tage Herstad shared a screenshot of a text message he received from his son's school.
