Jet2 has apologised after a flight from Turkey was delayed by 16-hours, with passengers allegedly told a 'shortage of sandwiches' was causing disruption.
Now one family caught up in the disruption this summer have spoken about their dismay after being denied compensation.
Barber Adam Lewis, 48, and his family were due to return from a week-long all-inclusive holiday in Antalya on June 1 but found out on their arrival at the airport that their Jet2 flight had been delayed, Birmingham Live reports. Dad-of-two Adam claimed passengers claimed they were told by ground staff in Turkey that catering issues had affected services leaving Birmingham Airport.
