The biker who died in a crash on the M53 yesterday has been named.
Merseyside Police were forced to shut the M53 in both directions last night at junction two after a motorbike crashed into a barrier on the busy motorway. Now, the ECHO can confirm that the man who died in the crash was dad-of-three Lee Nall.
Officers rushed to the scene after reports of a crash at around 7.25pm involving a Suzuki motorbike. Lee Nall died at the scene and his family were told.

PS Events posted on Facebook following the news: "A devastating day for our P S Events Family. We are not just crew, we are all close, we have each other's backs, brothers, sisters!

An investigation is now underway with CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries. A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Moreton this evening, Sunday 17 July.
"At around 7.25pm, emergency services were called to Junction 2 of the M53, at the entrance to the southbound carriageway, to reports of a collision involving a Suzuki motorbike. The driver of the motorcycle, a man in his 30s, sadly passed away at the scene.
"His family have been informed. An investigation is underway, including CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries. Officers closed the M53 in both directions around junction 2, including the Moreton Spur.
"We would like to thank drivers and residents for their patience as we dealt with this incident."
