A beloved dad-of-three was tragically killed in a horror crash just hours after telling his wife "I love you", an inquest was told.
"Gentle giant" Wayne Jackson was heading home from his job as a driver at Manchester Airport when his Vauxhall Corsa collided with a Mercedes on the A556 in Tabley, near Knutsford, at around 3.30pm on March 4, 2021.
The cause of the smash which claimed the life of the 44-year-old still remains unknown, Manchester Evening News reports.
