Dad of Edinburgh's Shaun Woodburn aims to build justice legacy after son killed

The father of tragic Shaun Woodburn has said that he wants to honour his son’s life by setting up a Victim’s Commissioner for Scotland.

The Scottish Government has launched a 12-week public consultation in order to alter the way the current justice system works, with an aim of putting the needs of victims above all else.

Kevin Woodburn, Shaun’s father, had campaigned for four years before Humza Yousaf, the former justice secretary, said last year that the current administration was planning on appointing a commissioner.
