Ryles sounds rules warning as Eels lose star to ACL

Parramatta coach Jason Ryles has warned increased fatigue will cause more injuries from hip-drop tackles, after J'maine Hopgood ruptured his ACL in the Eels' win over St George Illawarra.

Hopgood was injured in the first half of the Eels' 30-20 win at CommBank Stadium on Sunday, after Dragons forward Ryan Couchman fell on the back of his legs in a tackle.
