Parts of homestead could be demolished as part of development

Lendlease has lodged its development application for a residential aged care facility and retirement village at the historic site of the Gold Creek Homestead, with plans to begin construction later this year.

The development will include a 118-bed, three-storey aged care facility, with beds for special care purposes including respite and dementia-specific needs.
