Cynthia Erivo brought runway fashion to New York Comic Con on Saturday, October 10, in a navy floral dress from Proenza Schouler's Fall/Winter 2026 ready-to-wear collection. The Oscar-nominated actor attended the convention at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center to promote the upcoming film adaptation of Children of Blood and Bone, based on Tomi Adeyemi's young adult fantasy novel.
As reported by Harper's Bazaar, Erivo wore the asymmetrical maxi dress styled by Jason Bolden. Designed by Proenza Schouler creative director Rachel Scott, the look combined a dark floral print with sculptural folds, tightly coiled fringe, and silver hardware.
The actor joined co-stars Lashana Lynch, Amandla Stenberg, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Damson Idris, Thuso Mbedu, and Tosin Cole, alongside director Gina Prince-Bythewood, for a panel about the forthcoming fantasy film. Erivo's outfit offered a fashion-forward take on the promotional appearance, with intricate construction and carefully coordinated accessories defining the ensemble.
