A cyclist has been left seriously injured after being hit by a lorry in Leeds.
West Yorkshire Police were called to Thwaite Gate in Hunslet on Thursday, February 3, after reports that a man riding a bike had been hit by a HGV.
Officers raced to the scene and the road was briefly closed into yesterday evening.

A witness reported that the man had been knocked off his bike by a lorry.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: ""Police were called to Thwaite Gate, Leeds at about 4.20pm on Thursday to a report of a collision between a bicycle and a HGV.
"A male cyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

The road was closed for a number of hours but has since re-opened.
