Motor insurance is expanding beyond accident cover, with new policies now addressing risks such as vehicle relocation, cyber incidents, mechanical breakdowns, and EV battery damage. Here’s what the latest motor insurance product called, ProShield and VPAY by Bajaj General Insurance, offer to cover.

Two newly launched motor insurance products are aimed at different sets of vehicle owners: ProShield, designed for defence personnel, and VPAY 2.0, which brings together protection for connected, electric, hybrid and technology-enabled vehicles.
