At the last four stage, the defending champions are likely to face Singapore, who are playing Scotland. Singapore were leading 2-0 when reports last came in. Malaysia and England are already in the semifinals.
Indian victory was never in doubt as the players are ranked much higher than their South African counterparts. The mixed doubles pair of Sumeeth Reddy and Ashwini Ponnappa took under 30 minutes to trounce Jarred Elliott and Deidre Jordaan in straight games 21-9, 21-11. Lakshya Sen conceded just eleven points as he eased past Caden Kakora 21-5, 21-6.
