A drinker has vowed never to visit a popular bar again after being slapped with an extortionate bill for four drinks. Taking to Tripadvisor, the unnamed customer said they had to pay more than £100 for the beverages.
They described the bar called Ego as "more expensive than drinks in Mayfair". They said they had received a parking fine after their visit to the Bromsgrove bar and restaurant earlier this month - despite checking in on arrival, Birmingham Live reports.
And when they contacted the parking company they were "absolutely no help". They ended their review saying they won't be returning to Ego at The Forest again. Ego at The Forest, in the Lickey End area, has a 4 rating on Tripadvisor - with more than 1,000 independent reviews. It was even awarded a Travellers' Choice Award in 2021.
