Last week in Las Vegas, a tragic incident unfolded during a deposition hearing at lawyer Dennis Prince's law firm, Prince Law Group. The victims, identified as Dennis Prince and his wife Ashley, were shot multiple times by Ashley's former father-in-law, Joseph Houston, who then took his own life.
The shooting occurred in the affluent Summerlin neighborhood, with seven people present in the room at the time. Fortunately, four individuals were able to escape and alert the authorities.
According to reports, Ashley Prince had been embroiled in a custody battle with her ex-husband, represented by Joseph Houston, over their two children aged 4 and 5. Ashley's parents expressed their determination to continue fighting for custody, emphasizing their daughter's unwavering dedication to her children.
Dennis Prince, a respected trial lawyer with 30 years of experience, had established himself as a prominent figure in Nevada's legal community. Known for his expertise in personal injury, product liability, negligence, and insurance cases, Prince Law Group was his professional domain where the tragic events transpired.
The law group released a statement expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support following the violence that unfolded in their offices.
