St Mirren have tabled a new deal to Curtis Main that will put him up with the club’s highest earners.
The Englishman, who has six goals so far this season, has been a big player for the Buddies this season and is out of contract in the summer. St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson is keen to keep him in Paisley and has offered him a lucrative new two year contract. The Buddies hope the 30-year-old will be the next first-team regular to sign a new deal. Main’s career has been revived under Robinson, who previously got the best out of him when he was Motherwell boss.
The frontman has had spells at Aberdeen and Shrewsbury Town before Jim Goodwin took him to St Mirren in 2021. The former Middlesbrough frontman will be the main striker as they look to remain in the top six and to push for a European spot.
