Electronics retailer Currys has issued a warning to all shoppers about potential scammers. Currys is urging customers to be more vigilant and aware of scammers. It comes after an increasing number of scammers using the Currys name.
One of the scams which has been targeting customers is a £179 SMEG kettle in return for doing a survey, with the scammersposing as Currys. People who have completed the survey are then asked to put their card details.
The scam follows the same design as a previous scam that Dojo raised warnings about, where scammers impersonating Argos offered a free Air Fryer if the recipient filled out an online survey, reports MEN.
