Curran, Green, Stokes now most expensive buys in IPL history; Brook, Pooran too make a killing at auction

KOCHI: It was touted as a mini-IPL auction but as reported by TOI on Friday, two young allrounders expectedly fetched the mega bucks here on Friday.

While England's 24-year-old Sam Curran became the most expensive player in IPL history when he was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 18.50 crore, Australia's 23-year-old sensation Cameron Green wasn't far behind as he was bought by Mumbai Indians for 17.50 crore.
