A Cumbernauld woman has been handed a five-year ban from owning and caring for animals after an investigation uncovered animal neglect.
50-year-old Yvonne Williams of Millcroft Road was also handed a two-year community payback order at Airdrie Sheriff Court on 29 March 2022. She pled guilty to failing to provide veterinary treatment or pain relief her three-year-old mastiff cross, Aria
Williams also admitted to a further charge of failing to protect her two cats, Ginger and Bandit, from suffering, injury and disease.
