The Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET-UG) 2027 could undergo a major overhaul, with authorities considering fewer subjects, shorter examination papers and a new subject-grouping system. The proposed changes are aimed at reducing the overall examination schedule and making it possible for candidates to complete their CUET-UG papers in a single day, according to a TOI report. The Ministry of Education, University Grants Commission (UGC) and National Testing Agency (NTA) are reportedly working on a plan to make the entrance examination more streamlined for students.
