Cubs-Rangers and White Sox-Tigers series will open 2024 MLB season

NEW YORK — The Cubs will be at Texas in the only interleague matchup on Major League Baseball’s traditional Opening Day on March 28 in the second season of the balanced schedule. The White Sox will open at home against Detroit.

The 2024 Crosstown Classic between the Cubs and Sox will be June 4-5 at Wrigley Field and Aug. 9-10 at Guaranteed Rate Field.
