NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad batters flunked the spin test at the slow Chepauk as Chennai Super Kings eased to a seven-wicket win in a one-sided affair in Chennai on Friday.
Spinner Ravindra Jadeja produced an incredible show with the ball, claiming three-fer while opener Devon Conway slammed his third IPL half-century on the trot as Chennai grabbed their fourth win of the season.
The Sunrisers batting unit looked absolutely clueless against the Chennai spinners as Jadeja returned figures of 3 for 22. The experienced India all-rounder and Maheesh Theekshana (1/27) strangled the Sunrisers batting unit, restricting them to a lowly 134 for 7 after which Chennai openers blasted 60 runs in the powerplay to seal the fate of the match.
