Crystal Palace continue their somewhat strange pre-season with an all-Premier League clash against Leeds in Perth.
A number of Palace’s first-team players have been unable to travel, which the club have explained by saying some were unfit and others “did not meet the entry requirements for Singapore or Australia when travel arrangements were made”.
It has meant that Patrick Vieira was left with a youthful side for the defeat to Manchester United in Melbourne, while later that day Marc Guehi, Eberechi Eze and Wilfried Zaha were among those in action in the UK as the Eagles beat Gillingham.
Leeds have beaten Brisbane Roar but were beaten in their last match by Aston Villa. Both Palace and Leeds flying back to England for further, albeit more local, friendlies after this match.
