Crystal Palace will travel to Marbella next Thursday to face Norwegian champions FK Bodo/Glimt in a friendly.
The Eagles were keen to organise a behind-closed-doors friendly to fill what would otherwise have been a 21-day period without any fixtures.
Oliver Glasner’s side host Luton Town at Selhurst Park in the Premier League on Saturday, but are then not in competitive action again until after the international break when they face Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on March 30.
Palace moved to organise the friendly against Bodo/Glimt after next Saturday’s league match at home to Newcastle was postponed due to the Magpies’ involvement in the FA Cup quarter-finals, where they have drawn Manchester City.
The friendly between Palace and Bodo/Glimt will take place next Thursday at the Marbella Football Center, kicking off at 3pm GMT.
Bodo/Glimt have won the Norwegian league title in three of the last four seasons, and rose to fame when they hammered Jose Mourinho’s Roma 6-1 in a Europa Conference League match in October 2021.
The Eagles have climbed to 14th, eight points clear of the relegation zone, since Glasner replaced Roy Hodgson as manager last month. The Austrian won his first game in charge, beating Burnley 3-0 on February 24.
