Borussia Dortmund are one of five clubs understood to be interested in signing Crystal Palace Under-23s defender Daniel Quick.
The 19-year-old centre-back played in a pre-season friendly against Walsall under the watchful eye of Patrick Vieira last summer, but has since found his playing opportunities limited in Paddy McCarthy's under-23s.
Quick made his last league appearance for the academy side back in August and has missed out on recent matchday squads with players from Vieira's first-team dropping down to get minutes.
Nathan Ferguson, Martin Kelly and Jairo Riedewald have all played for the under-23s this month, with the former two both playing in Quick's position.
The teenager's contract runs out at Selhurst Park at the end of the season and Dortmund, who in recent years have helped further develop England stars Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham, have this week expressed an interest in taking him to Germany, football.london understands.
The defender has also received interest from other European heavyweights PSV Eindhoven and Scottish champions Rangers, while both Southampton and Leicester in the Premier League are understood to have shown interest too.
Quick joined Crystal Palace after graduating from the Soccer Elite Football Academy in Kent where he spent two years as a scholar before signing his first professional deal last summer.
