Crystal Palace have hit out at the “unhealthy influence” of some clubs in European football and said the decision to demote them from the Europa League “shows that sporting merit is rendered meaningless”.
In a strong statement after losing their fight with UEFA at the Court of Arbitration for Sport [CAS], Palace have accused “certain clubs, organisations and individuals” of having “a unique privilege and power” that has “shattered the hopes and dreams” of Palace supporters.
