It was a night to remember for Crystal Palace's U21 side as the Eagles scored an injury-time winner to beat Braga to progress to the quarter-finals of the Premier League International Cup.
Captain Jack Wells-Morrison scored a 93rd-minute winner for Palace against Sporting Club Braga to seal a dramatic win for Paddy McCarthy's side, who now progress to the last eight of the tournament.
Braga had earlier taken the lead at Dulwich Hamlet's Champion Hill through a goal from Andre Lacximicant after just nine minutes, but Sean Grehan drew Palace level after 25 minutes before Wells-Morrison won it for the Eagles after a second half in which both sides had several chances.

And the Palace Under-21s captain spoke of his delight after the game following recent results: “We’ve had a few bad results elsewhere, games where we should’ve been doing better in some games, but it’s good to get through," he said, speaking to the club website.
“[My goal] was decent! I don’t score too many, so scoring one here was brilliant. We’ll have more games to play, so let’s see who we get next.”
During the game against Braga, Palace switched to a back five, with Wells-Morrison pushed further forward in the midfield to play alongside David Ozoh. This is something McCarthy has done on occasion this season, and Wells-Morrison said he feels it can help get the best out of each other.
“I think he [Ozoh] compliments my game well, he allows me to get on the ball and obviously he’s massive! He does the other side of the game well and I think we play quite well together," he said. "I've played further forward in midfield quite a few times over the years. It's a position and system that I'm familiar with.
“It’s been good captaining the side this season, I don’t mind it. We’ve got quite a few leaders in this team so, even though I’ve got the armband, everyone always contributes and plays their part.”
