Crystal Palace injury news for Liverpool in full including Wilfried Zaha latest

Liverpool will face Crystal Palace in their next Premier League fixture tonight.

The Reds travel to Selhurst Park to face Palace as they continue their fight to finish in the top four. Liverpool are currently in eighth place in the league table and are seven points adrift of the Champions League qualifying spots.

Jurgen Klopp will be forced to deal with several players out with injury for the trip to South London. Luis Diaz, Calvin Ramsay and Thiago Alcantara are on the sidelines with injury.

Ibrahima Konate has returned to first-team training after recovering from a muscle injury. However, Klopp faces a decision over whether he will include the defender in his matchday squad against Palace.

Here is a look at Crystal Palace’s full injury list and suspensions ahead of the game with Liverpool.

Wilfried Zaha injury latest - is he fit to face Liverpool?

Wilfried Zaha is likely to be available to face Liverpool after recovering from injury. Zaha has been sidelined with a hamstring injury and has missed Crystal Palace’s last three matches.

Patrick Vieira says he hopes to have the forward available to face Liverpool. Zaha was involved in team training with his team-mates on Friday.

Vieira said: “Both of them (Tyrick Mitchell and Wilfried Zaha) trained with the team and Wilfried is getting better and better, he had the last training session this morning. We have to wait until tomorrow to see if there is any reaction.”

Other Crystal Palace injury news

Goalkeeper Sam Johnstone is currently suffering from a calf injury. Vieira has confirmed that the stopper will not be involved against Liverpool.

“Sam will not be involved tomorrow,” said Vieira. “He will be out with a calf injury for the next couple of weeks.

Tyrick Mitchell was withdrawn during Palace’s draw with Brentford last weekend as a precaution. Vieira says he hopes to have the left-back available to feature against the Reds.

Nathan Ferguson will not be available to face Liverpool. The full-back has been sidelined with a long-term injury, and recently featured for Crystal Palace’s Under-21s as he builds up his recovery.

James McArthur has not played for Palace all season, after suffering from a long-term hip injury. Vieira says that the midfielder will be in the squad to face Liverpool.

“Nathan played 45 minutes with the U21s, and he trained this week with the team, so he is making progress, which is really good for us.

“James McArthur has been in full training with the team this week. We will be a part of the squad tomorrow.”

Suspended

Crystal Palace currently have no players who are suspended for the Premier League clash with Liverpool.

Liverpool also have no players currently unavailable through suspension. In terms of the Champions League, though, Trent Alexander-Arnold is one yellow card away from receiving a one-game ban.

Darwin Nunez was shown a red card in the reverse fixture between Liverpool and Crystal Palace in August. The striker was sent off for headbutting Joachim Andersen in the 1-1 draw at Anfield.
