Cruz Beckham reaches out to Brooklyn in new post after social media block amid family feud

Cruz Beckham appears to have extended an olive branch to his estranged brother Brooklyn after sharing a throwback photo from happier times.

The singer, 20, posted a snap on Wednesday of himself with Brooklyn, 26, Romeo, 23, and their father David during a sun-drenched family holiday in 2021.

All four Beckham men are pictured shirtless, smiling at the camera.

At the time, Cruz captioned it: “Love you guys @davidbeckham @brooklynbeckham @romeobeckham.”

It marks the first time Cruz has publicly shared an image featuring Brooklyn since tensions within the family became public.

Despite the gesture, the siblings still do not follow one another on Instagram.

Earlier this year, it emerged that both Cruz and Romeo had unfollowed their eldest brother, with sources telling the Daily Mail they had even blocked Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz.

The move reportedly followed Brooklyn’s birthday post for sister Harper, which featured a family photo that didn’t include either Cruz or Romeo. Nicola reposted the same image.

Meanwhile, Lady Victoria posted a video showing the Christmas stockings hanging above the fireplace at her mother Jackie's home, with the caption: "Sooooo many grandchildren".

One stocking was particularly noticeable in the middle of the hearth, emblazoned with Brooklyn's name. Speaking to the camera, Victoria said: "So I’m here at my mum and dad’s house and look how cute.

"They’ve got all of the grandchildren’s stockings up ready for Christmas."

It is thought the video could be a signal to Brooklyn that his family are still thinking of him.

Brooklyn and his wife were absent from star-studded celebrations as his father Sir David Beckham celebrated his 50th birthday in May.

The pair also kept silent as Sir David was knighted at Windsor Castle earlier this month.

As he posted images of a fishing trip to Scotland with by sons Cruz and Romeo, Sir David took care to include his older son, writing on Instagram: “You were missed Brooklyn Beckham.”

A source claims the feud partly began after ‘anti-Nicola’ stories were briefed to the media by an aide close to Beckhams.

The insider told the Daily Mail: “There is an obvious first step which would be a public acknowledgement [by David and Victoria] of what they did, and an apology.

“It cannot be a performative thing. There is no realistic chance of a reconciliation without that happening first.”

The insider added: “It is hard to understand the intensity and the escalation. It seems that they thought they could heap abuse on Nicola without any consequence. They did not let up.”
