Crude Prices Slip on Dollar Strength and Chinese Economic Concerns

September WTI crude oil (CLU23) this morning is down -0.42 (-0.50%), and Sep RBOB gasoline (RBU23) is down -5.78 (-1.95%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices this morning are moderately lower.  Today's rally in the dollar index (DXY00) to a 5-week high pressures energy prices.  Also, concerns that a worsening of China's property debt crisis will weigh on the economy and curb energy demand are weighing on crude prices.
