Crude Prices Retreat on Dollar Strength and Ample US Crude Stockpiles

May WTI crude oil (CLK24) this morning is down -0.96 (-1.11%), and May RBOB gasoline (RBK24) is down -1.69 (-0.61%).

Crude and gasoline prices this morning are moderately lower.  Today's rally in the dollar index to a 4-3/4 month high pressured energy prices.  Crude also has some negative carryover from Wednesday when EIA crude inventories rose more than expected to a 9-month high.
