Crude Prices Remain Firm on Optimism China Will Boost Stimulus

July WTI crude oil (CLN23) this morning is up +0.30 (+0.42%), and July RBOB gasoline (RBN23) is up +0.71 (+0.27%).  July Nymex natural gas (NGN23) is up +0.073 (+2.88%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices this morning rose to 1-week highs and are moderately higher.  Crude prices are climbing on hopes that China will boost stimulus measures to spur economic growth and energy demand.  Gains in crude are limited after the dollar index today recovered from a 5-week low and moved higher.
