Crude Prices Gain on Disruptions to Canadian Crude Production

June WTI crude oil (CLM23) this morning is up +1.81 (+2.54%), and June RBOB gasoline (RBM23) is up +6.68 (+2.81%).   June Nymex natural gas (NGM23) is up +0.106 (+4.96%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices this morning are moderately higher.  Crude prices are climbing today on carryover support from last Friday's stronger-than-expected U.S. Apr payroll report that eased recession fears and raised expectations for stronger U.S. energy demand.   Also, wildfires in Canada have reduced crude production from several Canadian oil producers, further tightening global oil supplies.
