Crude Prices Finish Higher as US Tightens Sanctions on Iranian Oil

April WTI crude oil (CLJ25) Thursday closed up +1.10 (+1.64%), and April RBOB gasoline (RBJ25) closed up +0.0215 (+0.99%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices advanced Thursday after the US ramped up sanctions on Iranian crude exports. Crude prices also garnered support from Thursday's better-than-expected US economic news, a supportive factor for energy demand. Gains in crude were limited due to a stronger dollar.
