February WTI crude oil (CLG25) Thursday closed down -0.48 (-0.68%), and February RBOB gasoline (RBG25) closed down -0.0119 (-0.60%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices Thursday gave up an early advance and closed moderately lower. Crude prices retreated after Thursday's report on weekly US jobless claims showed US continuing unemployment claims rose to a 3-year high, heightening concerns about US labor market strength.
