Crude Oil Prices Whipsaw Higher on Tense US-Iranian Nuclear Talks

April WTI crude oil (CLJ26) today is up +1.01 (+1.54%), and April RBOB gasoline (RBJ26) is up +0.0256 (+1.14%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices recovered from early losses and whipsawed higher on signs that talks between the US and Iran remain tense, sparking fears that the US could soon launch an attack on Iran, disrupting Middle East crude supplies.  The US and Iran are holding a third round of nuclear talks in Geneva, with just a week to go until President Trump’s deadline to strike a deal.
