Crude Oil Prices Jump as Ships Attacked in the Strait of Hormuz

August WTI crude oil (CLQ26) today is up +1.73 (+2.52%), and August RBOB gasoline (RBQ26) is down -0.0312 (-1.04%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices are mixed today. Crude oil prices jumped following attacks on shipping in and around the Strait of Hormuz. Gasoline prices are sliding today as the crude crack spread is down more than -3%. The crack spread had surged to a 4-year high on Monday.
