A teenage girl in her first job was subjected to appalling sexual harassment from a workmate.
Samantha Cole-Wade's behaviour left the 18-year-old shocked and "creeped out" when they worked together in a Glasgow care home.
An investigation by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) heard the care worker approached the young woman asking her if she liked girls or boys, telling her "I have been thinking of being in bed naked with you".
The panel head that Wade, who is in her 40s, spouted a catalogue of vile and inappropriate comments to the teenager, some too crude to publish.
She also took hold of the horrified girl's face and tried to kiss her, leaving her distressed and embarrassed.
The series of events came to light when she told a friend and they both reported the matter to a manager.
Cole accepted some of her actions were wrong, but did not agree with them in their entirety.
Ordering a warning be placed on her record for a year, and conditions of practise imposed, a report published this week by the SSSC told her: "In coming to a decision as to whether your fitness to practise is currently impaired because of misconduct, the panel considered the behaviour was easily remediable.
"The behaviour had not been remedied – you had failed to show remediation or steps taken to remedy the behaviour. This meant there was a risk of repetition.
"The panel was satisfied if the behaviour was repeated there was a risk of harm to work colleagues and to the profession. There were therefore issues of public protection and public interest.
"The panel took into consideration the serious nature of the allegations, their impact and your limited insight.
"It is apparent to the panel that any reasonable person would have concerns about your behaviour toward a young inexperienced colleague as described by the witnesses.
"It was the decision of the panel that your fitness to practise is currently impaired as result of misconduct as shown by these allegations."
