Crude Erases Early Gains on Possible Easing of Middle East Hostilities

December WTI crude oil (CLZ24) today is down -0.33 (-0.48%), and December RBOB gasoline (RBZ24) is up +0.0087 (+0.43%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices today are mixed, with gasoline posting a 1-week high.  Crude oil fell back from a 1-week high today and turned lower after the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said Iran agreed to stop producing near bomb-grade uranium.  Crude initially moved higher today due to a weaker dollar and from an escalation of the Ukraine-Russian war.
