Crude Climbs on Tighter US Supplies and Global Energy Demand Optimism

December WTI crude oil (CLZ24) today is up +1.07 (+1.56%), and December RBOB gasoline (RBZ24) is up +0.0245 (+1.25%).

Crude oil and gasoline prices today are moderately higher. Crude is supported by positive carryover from Wednesday after weekly EIA crude and gasoline inventories unexpectedly declined. Crude is also climbing on signs of strength in the global economy that is supportive of energy demand and prices. A stronger dollar today is limiting the upside of crude prices.
