The 30th annual Critics Choice Awards saw Wicked, Emilia Perez, and The Substance emerging as top winners, with each film scoring three wins on Friday night. However, the top honour of Best Picture went to Anora in a surprise win.
Wicked and Conclave, which entered the night tied with 11 nominations each, claimed victories in Best Director for Jon M. Chu, as well as Best Costume Design and Best Production Design, while Conclave won Best Ensemble and Peter Straughan’s picked up the award for Original Screenplay.
